​The launch of ​Ahal-3 LM600 Simple Cycle Power Plant was organized on December 28, 2013 with attendance of Çalık Holding's Chairman Ahmet Çalık, Çalık Enerji's General Manager Osm​an Saim Dinç, Çalık Enerji's Top Executives, Turkmen Minister of Energy and Turkmen Deputy Minister of Energy.

Other LM6000 simple cycle power plants in Mary and Lebap are now at the final stage.​
