The Project for Steady Supply of Electrical Energy to the City of Ashgabat aims at modernization of the electricity transmission and distribution networks, increase in capacity and uninterrupted / continuous supply of energy to consumers. The scope of the operation can be summed up as follows:​

-16 switching plants of 110 kV, 11 Distribution Centers of 35 kV and 97 Substations of 10 kV are planned to be constructed.​
