​110kV KÖŞİ-2 Switchyard and 110kV 14.5km dual circuit electricity transmission line were energized and commissioned on April 30, 2014 as a part of the "Project for Stable Power Supply to the City of Ashgabat (AST1)".

2 ea. 40/40/25 MVA power transformers which were kicked off at KOSI-2 Switchyard will meet power requirements of newly-built houses across the region, where a population of 10,000 people will reside. The Project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year.
