Çalık Enerji has been continuing operations at full pace to build Georgia's first natural gas combined cycle power plant in Gardabani district, which is located at 45 km south of Tbilisi.​

Mobilization and site preparation works are already under way in Gardabani and the production process for 1 GE 6FA Gas Turbine, one of the main equipment, is completed.

25.2 % of the engineering operations of the project have been completed while other operations are in progress.
