Çalık Enerji completed over the construction of Gardabani Combined Cycle Power Plant that is one of the top investments for the Georgian energy industry in recent years.
Projected to contribute to the energy diversity, this project corresponds to the 8% of the Georgia's total installed capacity by year 2015 and has the capacity to meet the 15% of Georgia's energy requirements with the 1,8 billion kilowatts energy it produces in an hour.
The construction of the Gardabani Natural Gas Combined Cycle Project started in October 2013 and completed sooner than expected. The power plant started production on July 22, 2015. After completion of the power plant, Çalık Enerji started the operation of the Gardabani Power Plant in order to generate electricity to Georgia.
Thanks to the importance attached to the occupational health and safety, the project was completed without any loss of time due to occupational accidents.

The 550 MW Simple Cycle Power Plant was constructed in Al-Khums located 100 km away of Tripoli, the capital city of Libya. The power plant is a turnkey project Çalık Enerji has taken over for all aspects including engineering, construction, mounting, testing, commissioning.
The project was finalized in December 2016 with around 500 people to be employed.
With 1-year guarantee term, the project's maintenance has also been taken over by Çalık Enerji for 12 years.
In the wake of the revolution, Libyan Ministry of Electricity signed the first contract for its own major power generation plant with Çalık Enerji.
Khoms Power Plant generates 6% of the current electricity capacity of the Libya and substantially reduce the energy shortages especially affecting the western side of the country where the population has been gathered. The project is also meet power requirement of Al-Khums in an incessant way.

Al-Khairat Power Plant Project is reinforced with installed capacity of 1.250 MW as the largest Simple Cycle Power Plant Project of Çalık Enerji and Iraq.

On July 24, 2020, Çalık Enerji won the EPC construction works tender for “Rompetrol CoGen Power Plant” held by Rompetrol Energy S. A., which is the Romanian subsidiary of KazMunay Gas International, the state oil and gas company of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The agreement for the Project was signed on August 19, Wednesday with the Signing Ceremony held via videoconference. The project, which is planned to be completed within 26 months, is the first EPC construction project undertaken by Çalık Enerji, therefore is an important milestone for the Company.

Çalık Enerji is awarded Turnkey Construction Project of Cap des Biches Combined Cycle Power Plant with 300 MW capacity in Senegal.
Signature Ceremony with Çalık Enerji, GE (General Electric) and West African Energy was held in Senegal’s capital city Dakar on 3 October 2020 with participation of Amadou Hott, Ministry of Economic Planning and Cooperation of Senegal.
Being the first and largest combined cycle power plant of Senegal, this Project will be added to our portfolio of projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Çalık Enerji will undertake the engineering, procurement, construction, assembly, testing and commissioning of the Power Plant Project and all related auxiliary equipment and structures within the scope of West Qurna 2, one of the largest oil fields in Iraq, developed and operated by LUKOIL. The contract for the project was signed between LUKOIL and Çalık Enerji on 21 December 2020. The Project is planned to be completed within 34 months.

The power plant with total installed capacity of 146,7 MW is composed of 3 pieces of about 50 MW GE-LM 6000 gas turbines. LM 6000 turbines are designed in a way to generate power in full capacity only within 10 minutes. The turbines are also important for Çalık Enerji as they will be the first of their kind in Turkmenistan and constructed by Çalık Enerji.
In addition, Çalık Enerji took over turnkey construction and mounting of all main and ancillary equipment required for operation of the power plant.

Upon the completion, the project was delivered to Turkmenistan Ministry of Energy for operation.

The cont. project of AST-1, Execution Of The Works For Second And Third Stage Of Increasing The Reliability Of Power Supply To The City Of Ashgabat project modernized the energy transmission and distribution of Ashgabat in accordance with the modern-day standards and increase the security of supply and capacity utilization. The project is a turnkey project and works finalized as of October 2016 in accordance with the contract.

The Tedzani 4 HEPP Project is aimed at increasing the total installed capacity of Tedzani 1, 2 and 3 Hydroelectric Power Plants, located at the distance of 70 km to Blantyre, Malawi's second largest city, by 18 MW. Together with the construction of all water works and power plant buildings under the Project, Çalık Enerji has also undertaken the supply and installation of the hydro-mechanical, electrical and electromechanical equipment on a turn-key (EPC) basis.

Aden Simple Cycle Power Plant was built in Hiswa Region, located approximately 10 km West of the center of the city of Aden in Yemen. The 60 MW Aden Fast-Track Mobile Power Plant was established next to the existing Hiswa Power Plant by Çalık Enerji in Yemen.
Two GE TM2500+ model mobile gas turbines were used in the Project. All turn-key engineering, supply, EPC and commissioning works were undertaken by Çalık Enerji.
The power plant was built in only 90 days.
The project is important because it is the first agreement made by Çalık Enerji in the field of mobile power plant and it is also the first project that our company started in Yemen.
