As Çalık Enerji, we have signed an important Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) to strengthen our cooperation in the fields of decarbonization and green transformation in Türkiye and third countries. This agreement reinforces our leading role in the energy sector and at the same time the implementation of our renewable energy and climate change projects. It aims to expand our cooperation with Japanese companies in a wide geographical area, including Türkiye, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and the Western Balkans.

This step, which supports Türkiye’s goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2053, strengthens our green transformation projects. This collaboration, which also contributes to JBIC’s goals of promoting sustainable growth and achieving carbon neutrality, will give a significant boost to our energy transition projects both in Türkiye and globally.
