During the "Turkey-Japan Overseas Cooperation Conference" hosted by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), Çalık Enerji signed a loan agreement with the Japanese credit insurance organization NEXI and Deutsche Bank.
In his opening speech at the conference, our Chairman and DEİK/Turkey-Japan Business Council President, Ahmet Çalık, stated, “I believe we need to increase our 6 billion USD bilateral trade volume as soon as possible. At this point, considering our country's strong and capable workforce, I invite the Japanese business community to invest more in Turkey. I sincerely believe that we, as Turkey and Japan, will undertake much stronger and more permanent projects. I also thank NEXI for their trust and support in our country’s economy.”
The funds provided under the loan agreement signed between Çalık Enerji, NEXI, and Deutsche Bank are planned to be used in the fields of renewable energy investments, energy transformation, and digital transformation.
