President of Turkmenistan Mr. Gurbangulı Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree within the scope of the Socioeconomic Development Program for the purpose of achieving the goals set for the Oil Refinery Complex in Turkmenbasi as well as keeping technological facilities active and operated smoothly.
Within the scope of this decision, a contract has been made with “Çalık Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş." for the construction of 2 new cutting-edge gas turbines for the Oil Refinery Complex in Turkmenbashi and reconstruction of the power plant. According to the contract, the project will be delivered completely ready for operation in 18 months.
